Symposio is a going-out super app: one product that covers a night out end to end, for everybody in it. It is a marketplace, a ticketing platform, an operations system, a payments layer and a social network in one application, because a night out is not any one of those things on its own.
See what is on near you tonight on a live map rather than a listings page, plan the night, invite your friends and see who is actually coming, buy the ticket, book the table, order from the menu, pay at the table and split the bill with the people sitting at it.
Build an event from nothing: the date, the venue, the line-up, the tickets and the people who need to agree to it, all in one place. Sell tickets with tiers, presale and promo codes, and scan them at the door. Run a market or a festival where every trader has their own stall.
Venues run the floor and the door on the same product their customers use: table plan, reservations and walk-ins; the menu behind a QR code with ordering and payment at the table; staff rota, roles and permissions; loyalty, deals and repeat-customer records; and payouts into their own bank account through Stripe, with the fee shown before it is accepted.
DJs, bands, musicians, photographers and 91 trades in all, from hair salons to boat charters, take bookings here. Terms are agreed in writing with the fee shown before anyone accepts, and the money lands in the provider's own account.
An operations tool ends at the door of the venue that bought it, a ticketing site ends when the ticket is sold, and a listings app never knows whether anyone turned up. Symposio is the same system on both sides of the transaction, so the listing is the business's own working data and the night is accounted for end to end.
